The Seahawks have officially announced their eight-man practice squad. Here it is: DT Michael Brooks, TE Cooper Helfet, LB Ty Powell, G Ryan Seymour, DB DeShawn Shead, DT Sealver Siliga, G Jared Smith and WR Bryan Walters. The most noteworthy thing there is the omission of Chris Harper, whom Seattle had hoped to add to the practice squad before he was signed by the 49ers this morning. Three of the players on the list are 2013 draftees — Seymour, Smith and Powell, all taken in the seventh round. Source: Seattle Times
