Seahawks linebacker David Hawthorne practiced for the first time this week in Seattle’s 90-minute walk through inside the VMAC on Friday. Hawthorne appeared to move okay during team drills. He’s listed as questionable on the team’s injury report. However, Seattle head coach Pete Carroll expects his starting middle linebacker to play on Monday against St. Louis. “We think he’s going to be all right,†Carroll said. “He looked okay today. I think it was a good effort to rest him, to get him strong for the week.†Hawthorne said getting the added time off his legs during the week helps to get ready for game days. “I think it helps out a lot,†Hawthorne said. “With my situation time is key and the most time I can get off and just let my body heal is always a positive.†Source: The News Tribune
