Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant has been placed on injured reserve because of a back injury that kept him out of the Oct. 9 game at New York according to Danny O'Neil of the Seattle Times. Trufant suffered what coach Pete Carroll said was a bruised sacrum in Seattle's home game against Atlanta on Oct. 2. The injury didn't manifest itself until after practice the Wednesday following the game. Trufant did not practice Thursday or Friday and while he traveled to New York, he was not able to play in the game. Carroll said that Trufant couldn't bend over to tie his shoes. Source: The Redzone
