The Seattle Seahawks announced that they have re-signed first-year linebacker Anthony Heygood. Heygood joined the Seahawks' practice squad midway through the 2009 season after making three tackles for the Carolina Panthers during the 2009 pre-season. The Panthers signed Heygood as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue last April. Heygood had been playing behind Aaron Curry at outside linebacker.
