The Seahawks just announced they have waived free agent rookie WR Donavon Kemp and released seven-year veteran cornerback Will Blackmon. Kemp had been picked up earlier this month, while Blackmon was signed in February after playing with Green Bay from 2006-09 and the Giants in 2010-11. Blackmon was also competing for a spot as a returner. Technically, as a veteran his contract is terminated and he becomes a free agent now. The Seahawks still have 10 receivers on the roster and nine cornerbacks. Source: Seattle Times
