Seattle Seahawks safety Kevin Ellison's arraignment on drug charges, scheduled for Wednesday in Torrance Superior Court was postponed until July 15, Larry Altman of The Daily Breeze reports. Ellison is facing felony drug possession charges after 100 Vicodin tablets were discovered in his car during a traffic stop in Redondo Beach, California on May 24. During the one-week delay, Ellison's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley--who represented Lindsay Lohan on Tuesday--will speak to prosecutors about a possible plea deal. A sixth-round pick (189th overall) by the San Diego Chargers in 2009, Ellison was waived by the Chargers on June 21, and claimed by the Seahawks the following day. Seattle subsequently released Ellison, but re-signed him with an adjusted contract after he cleared waivers.
