Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck told reporters after Sunday's 48-10 loss at Green Bay that he's searching for solutions to the team's offensive woes along with everyone else and head coach Jim Mora said evaluating Hasselbeck's long-term role with the team won't be made until after the season and that he's not thinking about a change at this point. Hasselbeck is forcing things and is on a horrible run, throwing eight interceptions in two weeks, but he remains Seattle's best quarterback. "I'm at the center of that," Hasselbeck said of the offensive struggles. "I'm looking for answers. We have to figure it out." Source: Seattle Post-Intelligencer
Not a bad idea really. Seattle did lock up Seneca back after the 05 season when they could've let him walk. They know his value to him. If they get rid of Matt, they'll probably draft a QB in the middle rounds and put him in the starting line up at the end of next season. Kolb is not a bad idea though.
