The Lions have acquired defensive end Lawrence Jackson from the Seahawks, sources inform Pro Football Weekly. It is not known who or what the Seahawks received in return. The Seahawks new front office previously traded Darryl Tapp and saw Patrick Kerney retire this offseason, so the defensive end situation certainly looks different heading into 2010. Red Bryant, Chris Clemons, Nick Reed, and rookie E.J. Wilson will be the key pieces of the 'Hawks rotation. Meanwhile, the Lions get an intriguing 24-year-old end who could push Cliff Avril for reps.
