Percy Harvin didn't get the news that he or the Seattle Seahawks wanted to hear. The wide receiver tweeted Tuesday night that he will need surgery to repair his injured hip. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported that the estimated timetable for Percy Harvin's surgery and recovery is 3 to 4 months, according to a source who has spoken with the receiver. That would put Harvin on track for a possible return in November at the earliest. Putting Harvin on the short-term injured reserve list is a possibility for Seattle. Source: NFL.com
Just in time for playoffs... Lets see... Branch, Burleson, Harvin, Houshmanzadeh, Rice...the free agent WR route hasn't been great for Seattle.
dude is brittle as hell and always has been even going back to his college days. the seahawks gave up a lot and gave him a huge contract. throw harvin's diva attitude on top of all of this and i don't see how this doesn't turn out to be a disaster for the seahawks.
