SEATTLE SEAHAWKS 8-1 1st NFC WEST (3-0) Sunday, November 10, 2013 - 1:00 pm ET TV: FOX Georgia Dome Atlanta, Ga. Scattered clouds. Mild. 68 °F, Wind: 3.16 mph/NW ATLANTA FALCONS 2-6 3rd NFC SOUTH (1-2)
Ahh yes.... the week has come. When schedules were first released, I penciled this game on my calendar to fly fron NY to ATL to catch the rematch from the last time I stepped in the Georgia dome. As the season has unfolded, I never purchased tickets and will be watching this one from the couch. I couldn't ruin the magic that was the 2013 NFC divisional game... Good luck to the Falcons in what should be a close game. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
Yep, Seahawks haven't been playing well the last few weeks but the falcons have been finding ways to lose all season.
I can see the falcons winning this game if roddy white comes back and not for the reasons you think. Roddy will not perform well against what looks to be a healthy SEA secondary. White will however take some heat off of Tony G and Harry Douglas along with the 2 inexperienced WRs playing. He can also motivate these young guys to perform well and tame some of the nerves. This game lost it's marquee value with the Falcons bad start. However, it's two teams that don't like each other so let's hope we get a competative game. The Seahawks offense is still a week or two away from getting back on track. I just wonder how Matty Ice will look. His o-line is a joke and he's been forcing things because of it.
The decisions along the o-line has killed the Falcons chances this year. That line is horrid, and Ryan's numbers reflect that. Add to that losing Steven Jackson, Julio Jones, Roddy White, Sam Baker....I can go on and on. But Dimitroff really screwed the pooch along the line.
And that is just offensive issues. Dont get me started on the ray edwards signing by dimitroff Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
Hes had his fair share of busts. I just hope its in the falcons past and we can learn something from this "off" season and continue forward toward the super bowl aspirations. We seem to have the roster to get it done. Speculation seems to point to some coaching changes. I dont see coach Smith getting the axe after one bad season but maybe the assistant coaches get a new look next year. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
I think Mike Smith has earned one more year with the success he's had. Anything less than a Super Bowl though is going to be a failure for him though. Those have to be the expectations after hosting a NFC title game.
Oh dear god this game has been brutal. The last play summed up the whole day when the Falcons turned the ball over on a fumble after a big gain. What an ugly game......
