He's needed to retire prolly 2 seasons ago. Hasn't stayed healthy. But he was a beast, sucks to see someone you literally grow up watching retire, hate that crap lol.
Jim Rome had a pretty good burn on him earlier. Basically called him out for not working hard enough. Said if he worked harder he wouldn't be one of the best big men ever, he'd be the best ever. He said he let outside interests distract him. I just thought that was kinda interesting.

Rome is right, the rome bashing is unneccessary. Rome stated a very TRUE fact. IF Shaq tried as hard as Kobe does Shaq would be the greatest big man ever. Calm the heck down everyone. Rome stated a FACT. Anyways, sad to see him retire, think everyone saw it coming.
