NFLUK Fantasy Football this week, I set an epic score, and this was the team:

    Phillip Rivers 8pts
    Rashard Mendenhall 3pts
    Ben Tate 8pts
    AJ Green 2pts
    Santonio Holmes 1pt
    Tony Scheffler 0pts
    David Akers 7pts
    Green Bay 15pts

A grand total of 44pts, destroying my previous worst of 59pts. Anyone else get raped fantasy wise this week?

  2. I had my doubts about Mendenhall entering this season after a huge workload in 2010 including the postseason......and he's not proving me wrong. 148 rushing yards while averaging a pedestrian 3 YPC in three games.

I'd start finding alternatives if possible........whether through trade or the waiver wire. Bernard Scott, Kendall Hunter should be hot adds this week and they have good matchups.

Tates value is going to continue to go down.

  4. With Foster coming back and Kubiak giving him a full workload.......Tate's value will be more as a handcuff than as a starter.

I'd see if you could get something in a trade for him............

I'd try to find Fred Davis or someone on a waiver wire you need a TE upgrade.

Luke Stocker is going to get more looks from Josh Freeman. He's been outstanding so far this year.

Thought I'd make this clear, NFLUK operate a Salary Cap style league, so my failures were even more embarrassing.

Mendenhall's performance or lack of has nothing to do with his 2010 workload.

Damn dude thats horrible luck i thought i was bad scoring 115 somehow im still 2-1

  10. Maybe.....maybe not.

But according to recent data...........70 percent of running backs who play prominent roles in a Super Bowl tail off the following year. Including the playoffs........he touched the ball over 400 times last season.

Doesn't help that Pittsburgh is battling the injury bug on the O-Line again this year.

in one league, you get 3 for int and 4 for fumble recovery, 1 for a sack, I was up four with seconds to go and he had dallas defense. That sack and fumble recovery meant I lost by 1pt. Also, I had second highest score by around 30 and lost by 1 pt to the highest scorer. I am the highest scoring team in the league and am 1-2 after 2 heartbreaking losses. ouch.

Funny how that works. Happened to me in the past and then you look at the other scores and there's two bums battling it out with a final of 45-60.
