PITTSBURGH -- Sid the Kid is back. Pittsburgh Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby will make his season debut on Monday against the New York Islanders, his first game in nearly a year since being sidelined with concussion-like symptoms. "I've never been away from hockey this long. I'm just excited to be able to play again," Crosby said Monday, according to the Penguins' website. Crosby hasn't played since taking head shots in consecutive games in January against Washington and Tampa Bay. Source: ESPN
This guy might end up like Muhammad Ali when his career is over. Almost a year out because of head shots and post concussion syndromes that long. Not good news.
as a flyers fan i hate this pubicstached happy. as a hockey fan i have a ton of respect for his talent. i hope he doesnt end up like lindros.
