The NFL's 2013 supplemental draft is scheduled for Thursday and six players have been declared eligible.

Per CBS Sports, those players are UNLV defensive end James Boyd, UNLV defensive tackle Nate Holloway, defensive end Toby Jackson of Central Florida, reciever DeWayne Peace of Houston, receiver O.J. Ross of Purdue and defensive back Damond Smith of South Alabama.

The supplemental draft is oftentimes a buyer beware for NFL teams, because while the player may be talented, the circumstances that put him in position to be in the supplemental draft in the first place could be less than desirable. Cleveland spent a second-round pick in 2013 on Josh Gordon last year, and he is already suspended for the first four games of the 2014 season.

Ross (56 receptions) and Peace (54 receptions) appear to be the best prospects, per the report, but both of them got into trouble at their respective schools.

pleeeeasseeeee there have been some fine players come out of the supplemental, they just have to find something negative because gordon is suspended after he had a history with drugs. Hes suspended 2 games btw, but way to fluff the story up a little lol

None of these guys are draftable

Boyd's got talent. High School All-American. Named to just about every Cali HS All-Star Roster. QB and DE. Kid was an all out stud on both sides of the ball. Started at USC, but got no playing time. 3 star JUCO recruit for 2011. Pre-Season Third-Team All-MWC this year. This is the kid you put on your practice squad and try to mature.

Holloway is too heavy. If he can drop down to 330, I would bring him in for a tree out, but at 365, he's a liability. 3 star recruit in 2008.

Jackson's got some talent. Originally signed with UGA, but decommitted and wound up choosing UCF. Bama, Tenn, Texas Tech. Okie St, Baylor, UNC, USF, Southern Miss, and Mizzou. Was a 4 star prospect, #9 DE in 2008. Went the JUCO route. Was a 4 Star, #11 JUCO 2011. Would be leery of him. Nobody chooses UCF over UGA and Bama for no reason.

Pearce showed some flashes but is inconsistent. 3 star recruit. Picked Houston over Arizona.

Ross has the talent. Just can't put it together. 4 star WR coming out of high school.

Damond intrigues me. He has been a solid tackler, but not much of a ball hawk. Top rated DB out of Michigan in 2009. Starter career at Western Michigan.
