that the AFC has been won by the Pats, Steelers, or Colts. The Pats are making their 4th appearance during this time, the Colts have made 2, and the Steelers 3. So, knowing that the AFC has been dominated by 3 dynasties during this 9 year period, the question then becomes, "Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" A lot of people enjoy dynasties while others prefer a variety of teams getting a shot. For those that like dynasties, the AFC is for you. For those that enjoy a variety, the NFC is your conference. If the niners win today, this would make 11 different teams in 11 years representing the NFC conference.
I don't mind there being dynasties. It gives the rest of the teams a measuring stick to grade themselves after. Want to be the best? Step up and beat the best.
i will be interested to see how much the ratings/share go down with a rematch of the giants vs. pats compared to their first meeting ................. although that's not really fair because the pats were going for perfection.
I like dynasties and wish the cowboys would get back on track. So much for parity Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Good thing. It's no coincidence though. Those teams have the 3 best QB's in the conference. Not to mention stellar coaching staffs(until Dungy left) and ownership that is committed to winning.
