Jason Dufner took advantage of perfect conditions at Oak Hill to tie the record for best round at a major with a 63 on Friday. He came up short on a birdie putt on No. 18 that would have given him the record alone. Dufner sat at 9 under after two rounds of the PGA Championship and held a two-stroke lead over a group that included Matt Kuchar, who bogeyed his final hole. Dufner holed out from the fairway on the second hole and didn't stop there, rolling in a birdie putt on No. 16 to get to 7 under on the day and 9 under for the tournament. He became the 24th player to shoot a 63 in a major. The last 63 was by Steve Stricker at the PGA Championship in 2011. Source: ESPN
