While they continue their pursuit of the best free-agent cornerbacks — Nnamdi Asomugha and Johnathan Joseph — the Texans have convinced three of their free agents to remain in Houston. The Texans are in the mix for Asomugha and Joseph, according to two people with knowledge of the negotiations. Media reports from around the country say the New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers could be the frontrunners for Asomugha. The Texans will have to restructure a lot of contracts if they're able to sign Asomugha or Joseph, either of whom would fill the most important need on the team. Source: Houston Chronicle
I really hope someone takes him away from the Jets. But all the signs are pointing to the Jets and I don't like it.
I'd love for somehow him to end up in New Orleans. But, they're not even mentioned. Jets may be the team to beat in the AFC this year.
It's not the on the field part I'm that worried about. It's listening to them brag about how great they are after they get him. I just really freaking hate that team. Rex Ryan in particular.
