Sixers have hired the former San Antonio Spurs assistant coach to lead their franchise for the next four years, Brown becomes the eighth coach in the past 11 years to lead the Sixers. Brown inherits a team that, under Doug Collins last season, posted a 34-48 record. However, his roster will look drastically different from that of 2012-13. All-star point guard Jrue Holiday is now with the New Orleans Pelicans, Andrew Bynum, who never played a game with the Sixers, is now a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Brown had been with the Spurs since 2002, first as director of player development and then as an assistant coach. Source: CSNPhilly
