Bengals looked Terrible, Andy Daltons first throw was a pick and he got slammed a few times, once by Suh, it was a good time!!! Lions starting D couldn't stop a a running play to save there lives though, the linebackers need some work. The game fell apart the second the Bengals fumbled right on kickoff to get us our second TD.
The Lions offense can be something serious if Stafford can stay healthy. They'll be okay with Shaun Hill, but nowhere near their potential
Shaun Hill is a real dink and dunk type of guy, while Stafford is a downfield threat, our third Stringer can also get down the field with his throws too. It's a totally different offense with Hill in.
Shaun Hills dad died in a freak accident, I believe they were working on a roof together and his father tragically fell off and died. Hill after his running touchdown, looked up in the sky and signaling that touchdown was for his dad. Classy dude, I don't know how you get over something like that honestly and put all your focus on football. It was a nice little moment though after the touchdown.
Also I saw a lot of Cinci starters still out there playing when our third stringers were still playing. Michael Johnson, and Shipley and a few other guys, it kinda surprised me.
If the Lions stay healthy, they will surprise a lot of teams this year. That D line is gonna be scary.
