The Steelers' interest in Harris makes sense; with Larry Foote gone, the Steelers need someone to back up Lawrence Timmons at one of the inside positions in the team's 3-4 defense. Kansas City cut him during the 2008 season, and he returned to Minnesota to help fill the void created by a season-ending injury to E.J. Henderson. Harris appeared in ten games for the Vikings last year, starting five of them. Source: ProFootballTalk.com
never even came close to living up to the hype, but tomlin had him in minny and hes got great size 6-3 255 and solid experience, perfect guy to backup timmons
if they could bring him in for something close to the veteran minimum, he could fill the back-up spot.
:TTW: I can't wait to see Timmons tear it up! I like this if they can get him on the cheap...which they should be able to...
