Pittsburgh Steelers team owner Dan Rooney will vacate his position as chairman of the team in June following the highly-respected NFL power broker's anticipated Senate confirmation as the U.S. Ambassador to Ireland, according to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Per the report, Rooney's son, Art Rooney II, will continue to act in the same capacity as team president.
