Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback had some interesting comments about offensive coordinator Todd Haley's offense on Friday. There have been questions about how the Roethlisberger-Haley marriage would work and some of Roethlisberger's comments make it appear he is not really happy with the offensive game plan.. “Haley’s offense is not a big-play offense,†he told Joe Starkey of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “It’s kind of a dink-and-dunk offense.†When asked if there was room for more quick strikes, Roethlisber said, “There’s a guy calling the plays. That’s on him.†“Sometimes, we’ll call something long, and it’s just not there,†he said. “For us, the big thing is that when we get into the red zone, we don’t get complicated. We need to finish drives.†Source: The Redzone

yep, i don't know if Ben does/does not like Haley or his system but in this conversation he's just basically describing Haley's offense, he's not really saying anything controversial. not sure what the 'story' is here ................
Check out the video. Ben never calls out Haley by name, but pretty much throws him under the bus when asked about going deep to Wallace. I don't think Mike Tomlin wants anyone undermining his offensive coordinator to the media, let alone the starting QB.
well, i'm sure that's the line that people want to make the 'story'. however, is it REALLY that controversial? Ben is basically just saying he doesn't call the plays. someone else does. i'm not sure there's anything vicious in the comment.
lol this will never end. haley loves heath miller, thats something im happy about. im sure the long shots to wallace will come. sanders needs the ball more he just looks HUNGRY when his leg isnt hurting him ;-)
