Ben Roethlisberger reiterated his commitment to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday after questions were raised about how much work he puts into preparing for games away from team headquarters, Scott Brown of ESPN.com reports. "First off, how does anybody know what I'm doing at home when I'm watching film or I'm looking through my playbook?" Roethlisberger said on WDVE-FM. "Unless someone's got cameras set up in my house and they're spying on me, but then they'd see the truth that I am doing that stuff. "It's so ridiculous. I get fired up because I don't like when people make up stuff about you, especially when you're so passionate about your team and your family and where I want to be." "I want to stay. My family wants to stay. I want to finish my career here, I've always said that," Roethlisberger said. "I hope that's very clear to everybody. When someone is a source and they're unnamed, they have an agenda and that agenda is not winning football games and not helping this team. And whoever the agenda is coming from, they're not helping us. They're hurting us." Source: The Redzone markaz's Take: This is a pretty good indication that Ben truly is pissed about the stuff that ESPN is putting out there. Can't say as though I blame him. Now, what the Steelers want to pay to keep Ben vs. what he is asking, that's a whole different issue.
There is now another report of trade talk. Seems to be some smoke forming around this story. it really would not surprise me one bit If ben told the steelers he wants to be traded unless Haley and any other coaches he does not like are fired. I would imagine a bunch of coaches will be fired after this season and ben will be happy once again
