Rookie running back Le'Veon Bell has left the Pittsburgh Steelers' preseason game against the Washington Redskins in the first quarter because of an injured right foot.

Bell carried the ball on all four plays on Pittsburgh's first possession, gaining a total of 9 yards, but he was replaced by Jonathan Dwyer during the team's second drive.

The second-round draft pick from Michigan State missed some practice time last week and was held out of Pittsburgh's preseason opener on Aug. 11 because of a sore left knee.

Ugh...Tony Hunt caliber...makes me cringe. To think they possibly passed up Eddie Lacy for Bell. I can only hope he's getting some of "this" out of his "system" now...

second opinion, steelers fear is a lisfranc which would be just terrible. Would likely wipe out his rookie year. Bradshaw is gone...mcgahee? Turner? Dwyer looks alright, i love me some LSH, but redman still blows
