Steelers rookie running back Le'Veon Bell is expected to be out six weeks with a Lisfranc injury, Adam Schefter and Scott Brown of ESPN reports citing a source. The Steelers said earlier in the day that they were waiting for a second medical opinion on the right foot he injured Monday night and also ruled him out for the team's preseason game Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs. He had an MRI taken on Tuesday, and coach Mike Tomlin said in a statement that the Steelers should have a final diagnosis "over the next couple of days." Bell left the Steelers' 24-13 loss to Washington early after spraining his right foot. Source: The Redzone
6 Weeks isn't terrible...but if he needs surgery and is out for the full season, that will blow. Wouldn't mind seeing them give the Packers a call for one of their guys...
If its 6 weeks...it's not terrible...he'd be back come week 5... Definitely would like to see them bring in someone else though. I just hate Isaac Redman being on the roster.
Week 5 is a bye so he will get an extra week. He will probably just re-injure it that week anyway, soft heck.
