The Pittsburgh Steelers have brought back a familiar face as they re-signed veteran fullback Carey Davis this morning, according to a league source. Davis, who was the starter in the Super Bowl last season, was one of the final cuts as he lost out to rookie fifth-round pick Frank Summers, the 28-year-old started 11 games over the last two seasons for the Steelers and had previous stops in Indianapolis, Atlanta and Miami. It's not know yet known what corresponding roster move will be made by the Steelers. Source: NFP.com
no way....he would never make it there, someone would get him and leave us very thin at WR. the talent and potential is there, he'll get it around eventually, he broke my heart the other day but he will get better, he has to lol i hope this puts an end to the frank summers experiment that i have been 100% against since day one
Sure Ktrain....there's always someone wanting to snag up the man with hands of stone.:icon_cheesygrin:
your nuts if you think sweed would last on the waiver wire, hes to good of a prospect still despite the heartbreaking drops
I like the move to sign Davis back. He's nothing special...far from it, but he's better than Frank Summers. Much better.
obviousely he has a ton a experiance frank was learning on the job I still got hopes for him but I am glad to see carey back.
