Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu practiced in a limited role for the first time in seven weeks, although it seems unlikely he will play Sunday in Miami. Polamalu has missed 10 full games and most of two others with a pair of left knee injuries. He hasn't played since Nov. 15 against Cincinnati because of a sprained posterior cruciate ligament. Polamalu called his current layoff "frustrating," but said it would be difficult to play after only a few days of practice following such a long time off. Source: Yahoo! Sports
It seems like Troy wants to play, but the coaches, doctors, etc. won't let him. I wonder if this means that the injury was worse than we know, and the coaches are trying to cover it up. Honestly, as much as I like him, I can sense that he may not be around much longer. I just have a bad feeling about it. It almost seems like he's giving up; maybe all the pressure he gets from coaches and teammates to be "The Tazmanian Devil" is screwing with his mind. Anyone else agree?
