Jason LaCanfora is reporting via his Twitter page that the Pittsburgh Steelers have signed free agent linebacker Larry Foote. The contract is for $9.3 million over three years and includes a $1.8 million dollar signing bonus. Foote is returning to Pittsburgh after spending last season with the Detroit Lions, his hometown.

Thought for sure he was going to sign with the Cards. When he was here last week he got radio interviewed on KTAR. In that interview someone kidded him about not wanting to leave Arizona to go back home and Foote said "I hope they (his agent and Cards' GM) get it worked out. I wanna be a Cardinal". I about choked when I heard it cuz players of Foote's quality usually don't say they want to be here. Apparently it didn't get worked out and now it sounds like the Cards are back to pinching pennies. Congrats Steelers!!!
