The Steelers have signed OT Flozell Adams on a multi-year contract. Adams, 35, is a former Dallas Cowboy. He is a five time Pro Bowler and 1 time All- Pro. He will likely be starting at RT for the Steelers who are trying to replace the injured Willie Colon. Flozell is known for his great run blocking. The Steelers will have to release someone to make room on their 80-man roster for Adams. Source: Jason La Canfora, Twitter
SteAler's refusing to be beat by the Bungles in the battle for classless team. Good for them. Don't go down without a fight : )
Good move... Wish the Bears had traded in their bravado for a set of balls on this one. :icon_rolleyes:
Can't ask for much better. If they need to "rent" him this yearonly, it's at minimum cost/minimum risk.
Solid move. Sure, Flozell's no prize at this point, that's for damn sure. But he's as good as it was gonna get for what was available, and they needed to grab someone quick to replace Colon.
If RT's were to ever go to the Pro Bowl, Flozel would be a Pro Bowl RT even at this stage in his career.............LT, not so much. But Flo is still a monster in the run blocking department The tripping thing is soooooo overstated. Before the first few weeks of last year, it didnt happen, and after the early seaon instance's it stopped
