The Pittsburgh Steelers officially signed former New Orleans Saints and CFL quarterback Tyler Palko to their practice squad, the team announced today. National Football Post had reported Tuesday that this move was pending for the Pittsburgh native after he cleared waivers from the CFL's Montreal Alouettes. Palko was in training camp with the Arizona Cardinals this year before being released prior to the regular season. He originally signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2007 out of Pitt. Source: National Football Post
