Following another sketchy fourth-quarter performance by the Steelers' defense, all eyes will be on All-Pro safety Troy Polamalu. Polamalu hasn't played since spraining his left knee in the Steelers' Sept. 10 season opener. He ran last week, and he may try to practice this week with the goal of returning to the field Sunday when the Steelers visit the Detroit Lions. "I've been pleased with his progress," coach Mike Tomlin said after the game Sunday night. "We'll see where he is as we push toward game time." Source: Pittsburgh Tribune-Review
Definitely a few ?????? about the Steelers D this year. I think having Troy back in the line up would answer a couple of those but certainly not all.
God, the Steelers could use Polamalu in the worst possible way right now. Damn near blowing a 28-0 lead against the Chargers, I said to myself, "This IS NOT Pittsburgh Steelers Football."
i'm sure you and the other 5 million Steeler fans would LOVE to see Troy back on the field ..........:icon_cheesygrin:
