We hit the opening of the final month of 2009 with a promise from Steelers coach Mike Tomlin. "We will unleash hell here in December because we have to. We won't go in a shell. We'll go into attack mode, because that's what's required." Hell hath no fury like the Steelers scorned? The scorn has been heaped on them by the Cincinnati Bengals, Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens for the first three-game losing streak in the young Tomlin coaching era, and they seem to have no choice but to wreak some havoc this month or become the latest of their Super Bowl champions to fall on their faces. heres were the fair weather fans fall off right here and heres where our turn around starts. I love the attitude of Tomlin I am sure the message is clear to the team there are alot of contracts on the line after the year coaches alike (special teams) you better know no bodies safe right now accept those who are meeting expectations This will be a test for Tomlin on how he is able to rally the troops and for this 2009 team and how they respond.
This team has been playing some poor football...however, there's no reason they shouldn't go 11-5 and get the wild card spot. No reason at all...
Talent wise we are just as good as any team in the league, the offense has to find ways to score more often and the defense is only playing at like 30% of their potential, its just freaking sad.
