Giants co-owner Steve Tisch declined to rule out the possibility of imprisoned former receiver Plaxico Burress returning to the team when he emerges from prison. Tisch, in comments to the New York Post, said he wants to see Burress get another chance in the NFL but held off saying if the hero of the team's Super Bowl XLII win would be a fit for the Giants. "It's a more complicated issue," Tisch told the paper. "Because I think it's not only premature, it's difficult to predict when Plaxico will be released." The ex-Giants and ex-Steelers wideout said last winter he would like to return to the NFL when he's a free man. His earliest potential return to the league is likely the 2011 season, when he will be 34. Giants coach Tom Coughlin said in March that he expects Burress to get another chance in the NFL, but added he didn't think the Giants would be an option. Source: USA Today
