Cowboys defensive end Anthony Spencer didn’t dress during the team’s 36-31 win over the New York Giants. But Spencer, who is still recovering from a July 25 arthroscopic left knee surgery, said he ran on Saturday and would do the same on Monday. “It felt good this morning so I’m just going to keep working it, seeing where I’m at on Monday and Wednesday,†Spencer said after the game. “Just try to work myself back into practice.†Spencer wasn’t making any predictions on when he would return to practice, though. The 29-year-old suffered a setback last weekend when he experienced swelling in his left knee. If the swelling doesn’t return, Spencer will have a chance to practice and then possibly play. “Just see how it is on Tuesday and go from there,†he said. “I want to see him have his days the way he had these last two,†Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said. “If he’ll come out and basically respond the way he has the last two, then he’ll play.†Source: Dallas Morning News
