I like this kid but the amount that Tim Kurkjian and ESPN are blowing this kid is ridiculous...it's just obnoxious...

 

I agree to a certain extent but there was something to it when you strike out 14 and walk none. I know it was the Pirates but I dont think any other pitcher this year has has that stat line against them.

I think its just something in general that happens nowadays not just sports. You have the internet and 24 hour sports and news channels that have to talk about something. So they pick a subjuect and beat it to absolute death, right now its Strausburg.

 

Strasburg goes 5 1/3 innings today with 8 more strike outs and 5 walks.

Another good outing by the kid.

 

He did work on us today, that curveball is something serious.
