Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Dashon Goldson's one-game suspension has been upheld following an appeal heard by Ted Cottrell.

Indianapolis Colts linebacker Erik Walden's one-game suspension for head-butting Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker was upheld by appeals officer Matt Birk.

Walnuts's Take: Neither player really had any legitimate grounds for it to be overturned so I can't say that I'm surprised to see them upheld.

That has got to be the fastest suspension/appeal/denial ever.

Yeah, not much to consider here at all. Overturn a suspension for a player who has his helment on and headbutts a player without his helment on? FUNNY!

Than with Dashon Goldson's history of dirty hits and the fact he had a suspension overturned earlier in the season, no way he was going to get off the hook this time around.
