Dan Pompei of the National Football Post reports the Bills have a crowd at the receiver position after the acquisition of Brad Smith. The former Jet joins Lee Evans, Steve Johnson and Robert Parrish, so don’t be surprised if the Bills part ways with Evans. The veteran had a down year in 2010 with only 37 catches, and he could have some trade value. Interesting parties have been sniffing around. Source: National Football Post
He could be a nice fit for someone as a compliment to a number one. Never really felt like Evans was a true number one.
Yeah, but I feel like Evans and an aging Smith would probably play close to the same role on that team. Seems a bit redundant to me. Heard the Browns had some interest last year, but I'd be surprised it he were brought in with Little and the other WRs needing to see time. Cinci, Houston, and San Diego seem like possible fits IMO.
