Now that former Ravens nose tackle Kelly Gregg has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs, second-year player Terrence Cody has taken over the starting role according to Ron Fritz of the Baltimore Sun. Cody struggled with the heat Thursday but had a much better practice Friday. "He is the starting nose guard, and we expect there to be no drop-off," said coach John Harbaugh. "We have had a tremendous amount of production from Kelly Gregg over the years, and Terrence Cody has to play at least as well as that. That’s the plan. That’s his responsibility, but I’m sure he can do it.†Cody will now be a full-time player in Baltimore's base defense. (He'll likely come off the field on most passing downs.) A mammoth man at 350 pounds, Cody is nearly impossible to move. Source: The Redzone
