The Houston Texans have cut fullback Lawrence Vickers, according to a league source. Vickers, who replaced All-Pro fullback Vonta Leach last year when Leach signed with the Baltimore Ravens, was due a $1 million base salary next season. He played in 14 games last season for the Texans, blocking for Pro Bowl running back Arian Foster. Vickers, 28, is a former Cleveland Browns starter who now joins the group of unrestricted free agents.
