Texans cut Jared Zabransky

Apparently he couldn't hack it. I didn't get to see his preseason game last night. I think he played for 3 quarters. Anybody see it? Did he look terrible?

Just casualy. I live in the northeast where college football doesn't exist.

 

Boise State QB (big time cinderella story, won the Fiesta Bowl over Oklahoma last year). He tried out at safety right Slizzy?

 

Maybe he'll catch on in Arena league, I bet he'd be a great fit there.

Jared's still got a shot to make the Texans practice roster though.

 

Well I heard that he was going to try out for safety but they had him playing QB.

I'm not a huge fan of him. He has pissed me off over the years (his 4th Qtr Fiesta Bowl INT for 1 example) and he is one of the cockiest pr**ks around. But still, for Boise States name you like to see guys make it.

You know, the kid is an athletic motherhecker. I just don't know about him though. As QB he would show flashes of just straight brilliancy. And then at other times his decision making was freaking horrible.
