The Texans will see defensive end Antonio Smith return to the field on Sunday after serving a suspension for swinging a helmet at Miami Dolphins offensive guard Richie Incognito. The incident kept Smith out of the Texans' final two preseason games and the season opener.

Meanwhile, Texans coach Gary Kubiak said Friday that safety Ed Reed will be a game-time decision.

"No, nothing different. He took a good portion of practice today," Kubiak said. "I'm going to go in there and visit with him and see where we're at. It'll be a game-time deal."

Third-year pro Shiloh Keo started in Reed's place at free safety last week.
