Houston Texans rookie kick returner Trindon Holliday is gone for the season. Coach Gary Kubiak says Holliday will have surgery Wednesday on his broken left thumb. Holliday had been wearing a cast on the thumb in recent practices. Holliday fumbled a punt and mishandled a kickoff return in the Texans’ 38-20 loss to New Orleans on Saturday. Kubiak blamed Holliday’s miscues on his injured thumb. Holliday is the second Texans’ draft pick to sustain a season-ending injury during training camp.

He had 2 decent returns much like his LSU days, but he also muffed 2 returns.. Much more like his LSU days.

Our radio guys were joking that we could just leave him in New Orleans from the performance last weekend. After that game I needed a good laugh too.
