Kareem Jackson’s $42,000 fine didn’t sit well with the Texans on Wednesday and linebacker Brian Cushing acknowledged it’s not getting any easier — or cheaper — to be a pro defender. “I don’t know. I think it’s getting a little ridiculous. But at the same time, they’re obviously stressing the safety of hits and everything,†Cushing said. “But I don’t know. Some (fines) are very questionable and it’s a lot of money — a lot of money. I don’t know what to say about that. It’s difficult.
