With veteran wide receiver Derrick Mason jettisoned from the Houston Texans' roster Monday, they have replaced him on the active roster with wide receiver Jeff Maehl. The Texans promoted Maehl from the practice squad today. Maehl, 22, is a rookie from Oregon. Meanwhile, former Oklahoma standout and Chicago Bears draft pick Juaquin Iglesias was signed to the practice squad. Iglesias worked out for the Texans earlier this season.

With Sherrick McManis getting injured im pretty sure he was called up to be out KR but I would love to see him ball out at the slot, while Jacoby Jones is playing the #1, & keep it when AJ comes back. We've had a lot of WRs come in & not do anything, it would be amazing if the undrafted rookie becomes something special and gives us an extra weapon going into the playoffs.

Hell, anybody that can take a touchback and let us start at the 20 is an improvement over McManis. :Loco:
