The Houston Texans signed Brian Russell to replace the Eugene Wilson who was placed on injured reserve today. Russell (6-2, 210), who was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Nov. 21, was an undrafted free agent out of San Diego State in 2001. He spent time with the Minnesota Vikings (2002-04), Cleveland Browns (2005-06) and Seattle Seahawks (2007-08) before playing nine games with Jacksonville this season. Source: BattleRedBlog.com
