The Texans have signed eight players to their practice squad. All were on the team and were placed on waivers in each of the last two roster reductions. The eight-member practice squad is comprised of cornerback Roc Carmichael, defensive end Keith Browner, fullback Zach Boren, center Alex Kupper, receiver Andy Cruse, inside linebacker Mike Mohamed, receiver EZ Nwachukwu and running back Ray Graham. Two rookies placed on waivers — nose tackle Chris Jones and running back Dennis Johnson — were candidates for the practice squad, but they were claimed by other teams. Source: Houston Chronicle
