The team announced Monday that Thad Lewis will be activated off the practice squad to start Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

"Thad gives us the best chance," coach Doug Marrone said. "We're going to give him an opportunity to see what he has.

The team feels comfortable enough with Lewis, 25, who spent the past two seasons in Cleveland and was serviceable last December in one start for the Browns, a loss to the Steelers.

i'm certain he can't be any worse than the Tuel guy

He's pretty decent in a third-string, possible upside kind of guy when you know the other option is bad sort of way

Hopefully the team rallies together. Not sure I'd pin all hope on Thad Lewis

supposedly, the Bills are playing Tuel with the first stringers at practice. Does this mean he is going to start? I know Lewis hasn't been great but Tuel looked horrible.
