Who deserves credit for their deeds in Week 5: Kris Brown: 57 yarder to win it for the Texans. Nick Folk: 52 yarder to win it for Dallas (twice). Steve Smith: His catch and then breaking of tackles for a key first down to set up the Panthers win. Vincent Fuller: His int return for a TD to win it for the Titans. Maurice Drew-Jones: His weaving long TD run for the Jags over the Chiefs. Greg Olsen: His leaping TD catch against the Packers. Plaxico Burress: His 53 yard TD was the back breaker for the Giants over the Jets. Micheal Turner: His 70 odd yard TD run versus the Broncos (check out the blocking down field by his receivers). Other: Name it.
I've gotta give Folk props. To convert on two 53 yd Field goal's {with the 1st not counting because of that cheap "time out" rule}, right at the last second to determine if your team goes 5-0, he showed he was clutch and had nerves of steel.
Nick Folk without a doubt. First kicker so far to beat the coach on that stupid timeout bullcrap, and he kicked a flawless onside kick to get the Cowboys the ball back. How many times can you say a rookie kicker was the reason a team won a game?
Heck of a job to kick 2 FGs in the final 2 seconds to win the game after having the first one wiped out by a timeout.
