I feel giddy, like a wide-eyed kid on Christmas morning hustling down the stairs to unwrap the biggest, baddest, most glorious present under that fancily-decorated tree.

The only difference is that Adam Silver is starring as the role of a clean-shaven, ever-slender Santa Claus and I know exactly what’s inside that box. It’s a Game Seven and damn if this isn’t going to be the best present ever.

The words Game 7 are great! It doesn't matter what the sport is.

Before the series started, I said GS in 7. I'm sticking to that.

While LBJ is great, his supporting cast isn't. He needs some help.

If the Cavs don't win tonight, does LBJ stay? Or, is he gone again? That's the question.

I totally expect the Cavs to win tonight. Curry and the Warriors are in meltdown mode.

Losing Bogut is hurting them more than people think.

don't care about LeBron one way or the other, but awesome for the Cleveland area.

    Agreed.

    Questions:

    1. Does this put a tarnish to GS's 73-9 season?

    2. Does LBJ owe Cleveland anything after it was him that left Cleveland for Miami in the first place?

    3. Does LBJ stay in Cleveland, or does he go somewhere else next season?

1- yes. just like it did to the patriots a few years back.

    2- no. all evened out.

3- good question. im not sure really. id lean towards him staying there.

The '01 Mariners, the '07 Patriots and the '16 Warriors...all had the best regular season in their respective league's history, and didn't win the championship.

    TJ:

While you're at it, don't forget the 1973 Boston Celtics. That year, they won 68 games, but they lost in the Eastern Conference finals.

I forgot about the 2001 Mariners. Stupid Yankees.

I'm not sure what their cap room is like but I'd be interested in seeing what the Cavs do this off-season.

They could probably move a few things around and still add a key piece or two to bolster that roster.

  15. TJ

Yeah, but it was later broken by the 72-win Bulls (who actually won the title), and then the 73-win Warriors.

I'm in a Facebook group that's full of them. You can't swing a dead cat in there without hitting a Sixers fan.
