I'm not at all a fan of soccer, but I freaking love the world cup. I watched a ton of the last one.

 

I remember someone on here saying USA were going to be a contender for this World Cup (LOL). They won't even have the chance to do the Mexico special this time around.

 

No freaking chance we make it out that group. We didn't bribe enough people, because they must have cheated to heck us that hard

 

Mexico Special = Lose to Argentina in the round of 16 every 4 years? :icon_confused:

USA isn't even important enough, that someone need to cheat on them.....

 

We need to beat Ghana in round 1 and tie either Germany or Portugal. My guess is that we go 1-1-1 and get 4 points but I don't see that being enough to advance. I think Ghana goes 0-3, US and Portugal go 1-1-1 and Germany goes 3-0. I think Portugal advances on GD though.

 

Hope you're right, but you never know, what happens in a WC. We get unbeaten thru the qualifies and hope we can continue this way

 

Pretty much, minus the Argentina.

I believe the only way US have a hope of making it out of the group is notching a close one out with the Black Stars then hope Ronaldo breaks his leg. Pretty much the same plan England needs to follow but replace Ronaldo with Suarez and Cavani.
